A 5 woodblock print (pentaptych) set titled The Five Chivalrous Thieves. This print is based off of a popular Japanese kabuki play Shiranami Gonin Otoko by Kawatake Mokuami. The story of the play was based on the fate of five real-life thieves: Nihon Daimon, Benten Kozo Kikunosuke, Nangō Rikimaru, Akaboshi Jūzaburō, and Tadanobu Rihei. These prints are being sold together as a set of 5.
